Emily began her yoga journey after a back injury in her teen years brought her dance career to an abrupt halt. She discovered that yoga challenged her body in ways similar to dance training, while also introducing mindfulness and gratitude to strengthen the mind. Over time, yoga became a source of deep healing– both inside and out. After a decade of practice she earned her 200-hour teaching certification through YogaRenew in the summer of 2025 and has been teaching ever since.
Her teaching style is approachable, alignment-focused, and grounding, designed to welcome every body and every background. She teaches by the motto: “I meet people where they’re at on the mat.”
When she’s not teaching or practicing, you can find Emily singing her heart out, enjoying good food with friends, or exploring the next destination on her bucket list.
